Town of Porcupine Plain

The Town of Porcupine Plain strives to provide good governance, while providing residents of Porcupine Plain & Area with a secure place to live, work and raise a family, embracing nature, culture and diversity, and providing the best recreation opportunities possible. The Porcupine Plain & District Museum is a designated heritage site which offers thousands of different authentic articles open to the public to come and view. It has everything — wood burning stoves, antique machinery, an antique truck, collectable dishes and cutlery, and traditional clothing, as well as a bird display showcasing hundreds of birds from the Porcupine Plain and Somme areas. There is also a display in the main building of photos, uniforms, accessories, and other artifacts pertaining to the many soldiers who settled in our areas.
