About
Art is my passion. Grew up in a busy city of India, the thoughts of my works come from my surroundings. My works based on people and moments. Usually I use watercolor, acrylic and pencil. I love my language, literature, and culture. The thoughts of India believe in 'unity in diversity'. The diversity grounded on their different ethnic people and culture. On culture days, I hope my works reflect my culture in here as Canada stands for multilingual and multicultural.

Paramita Bhattacharjee
I am Paramita Bhattacharjee. I am an Anthropologist. I completed my PhD in physical anthropology, with expertise on growth and nutrition of children among different indigenous communities in India. At present I work at the Toronto District School Board. Art is my passion. I started learning art from my childhood at "Kolkata Nandanik". I have a Diploma in Fine Arts. Apart from painting myself, I am actively involved in organizing art exhibitions in Toronto. During the pandemic I have organized online art exhibitions with artists from both Canada and India. I believe art can be a great bridge for connecting people and opens doors for boundless possibilities for all people of all ages and backgrounds as the language of art is universal.
