Art Gallery of Algoma

Art Gallery of Algoma (AGA) is the only public art gallery between Sudbury and Thunder Bay. The AGA was incorporated in 1975; the gallery is located on the banks of St. Mary's river. The mandate of the AGA is to collect, preserve and display art by national, international, and local artists. In addition, the AGA provides art based educational activities for the community. The AGA operates all year and has virtual and in person exhibitions and programming, including art education for all age groups. Permanent collection consists of over 5,000 artworks, many of national significance.
