Directions: The Orillia Farmers' Market is held in the Library Parking Lot on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Parking is free on Saturdays during market hours in metered and pay machine parking lots 4, 7, 9, and 10 closest to the Library in Downtown Orillia.

Celebrate Culture Days with us as Melissa Robertson guides you on a tour of notable artworks from the Library’s permanent art collection on Saturday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Discover the work of local artists who have created in and about the Sunshine City for centuries, and experience the featured work of great masters including Arthur Shilling, Elizabeth Wyn Wood, and Franklin Carmichael. Everyone welcome! Meet in the Library Lobby. Please RSVP through the Library website for your preferred time-slot at 10:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.
Melissa Robertson is a practising artist and educator of over 20 years. She has a Master of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Education and is the Library’s Director of Corporate and Operational Services.

Orillia Public Library
The Orillia Public Library is a fully accessible community and cultural hub in the downtown; we provide free access to books, magazines, DVDs, downloadable resources, and Internet access. Community members are welcome to participate in a wide variety of programs and events, including storytimes, technology learning opportunities, classes for seniors, and programs for children, teens, and adults ranging in topics from art and trivia to yoga, book clubs and more. We also house a large collection of print material and photos documenting Orillia’s storied past available for in-library use in the Local History Room.
