About
Connect and Reflect is a community based celebration of the arts. A variety of free workshops led by local arts professionals offer participants the chance to enjoy the health benefits of creativity in community, connect with new and old friends, and reflect on our collective history. Mel Malinowski invites you to bring a photo of a building or barn of historical or aesthetic significance to you and learn to see it in a new way through drawing and painting. Art Therapist, Dana Stefanson encourages collaboration and personal reflection in a community art experience. Musician Luz- Marina Dominguez leads us in an energizing blending of spirits through rhythm and music. Also, discover the Art Nest Community Studio and allow yourself the chance to play and experiment through art!

The Art Nest
The Art Nest Community Studio is an open studio program where everyone is welcome as an artist! As part of the Art Hives Network (arthives.org.) our aim is to promote the benefits of artmaking for personal and social wellbeing. We collect donated art materials and non traditional items for creative reuse and recycling. Community members are invited to create, share skills and ideas and get to know eachother through the universal language of art.
