About

Get creative and pick your bicycle, choose your parts, and create your own 2-wheeled masterpiece! Learn the skills and be able to take home your new bike! An excellent introduction into the craft & culture of bicycle maintenance & sport.

Pedal Forward is a pop-up bike program led by the City of Thunder Bay’s Culture & Events team, in partnership with Community Spokes and Active Transportation Thunder Bay. This free, drop-in initiative invites community members to repair and ride away with an upcycled bicycle — all while learning basic bike maintenance skills in a welcoming, hands-on environment.
