About

Beach Art is exactly as it's named. Families, teams or individuals are welcome to come to Whiffen Spit Beach. Bring nothing from home but your lunch! Beach findings teams have 2 hours to make a piece of art. Judges will select winners, and prizes will be awarded. We also have kid-friendly activities such as rock painting, plus live music to enjoy. It’s a fun-filled day for everyone!

Sooke Arts Council

We are the Sooke Arts Council promoting the arts in the community. We are funded by the government and fro those funds we do many projects. We have a local gallery showing community members art, reach out to the schools with projects, help other organizations with some funding if asked. Our gallery is completely run by volunteers . So proud of our community.
