About
Join us for the opening event of the newest installation by artist Odadrihonyanisoh (Sara General) in the Window Gallery at the Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre.
Odadrihonyanisoh (Sara General) belongs to the Turtle Clan and the Mohawk Nation. She lives in the community of Six Nations by the Grand River on Turtle Island with her husband and three children. She is a writer, an artist, a language learner and a researcher.
This is the inaugural exhibition in the Window Gallery space which functions as a site to engage the public with contemporary art and artists without barriers. The Lincoln Museum and Cultural Centre is committed to the enrichment of the cultural fabric of our community. Nevertheless, exhibitions, objects, and interpretation primarily take place within the museum's interior spaces, accessible only during opening hours. The Window Gallery is a site of public art, humanizing the built environment and invigorating our public exterior space bringing culture to the community outside of our institutional boundaries.
