About

Join us for an enlightening panel discussion featuring National Geographic Explorers Alizé Carrère and Malaika Vaz. These two extraordinary storytellers will explore the complex relationships between water, climate change, and human resilience.

Alizé will share insights from her work on the Adaptation series, focusing on innovative approaches to living with water in Bangladesh and the impact of glacial melt in the Himalayas. Meanwhile, Malaika will discuss her latest feature documentary, Sacrifice Zone, which highlights the environmental and health effects of the extractive industry, with a particular focus on water contamination. Together, they will explore how water shapes ecosystems, communities, and the fight for environmental justice around the world.
