Join us at the Cannery for Dance Classes with Sparkle Dance Academy (previously Get Bent.)
This youth fusion dance workshop will include Bellydance, Spanish dance, classical Indian dance, Bollywood, Hip Hop, and Ballet. We will learn how various styles of movement can fit together to create new expressions of dance. Participants will experience the basic postures, characters, techniques, and movement patters for each style, then experience the unlimited creative freedom of fusion!

The Mission of Penticton & District Community Arts Council is to increase and broaden opportunities for the public enjoyment of and participation in cultural activities, while working closely with all levels of government to address the cultural needs of the Community.
This year the Penticton & District Community Arts Council (PDCAC) is holding the annual Arts Rising Festival on the national Culture Days weekend. Culture Days’ theme this year is creativity, arts, and well-being with a focus on events that are participatory in nature.
All of the events are:
• Free to the public
• Low barrier and accessible to all (i.e. family friendly)
• Participatory
