Join Guelph Museums on a virtual tour of the former Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School

Woodland Cultural Centre will guide viewers through the former Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School, sharing details about the institution's 140-year history.

You will see different rooms inside the school, including the girls’ and boys’ dormitories, the cafeteria, and the laundry room, while hearing interviews with five survivors.

There are two ways to participate:

1. View the livestreamed tour on our large screen at the Guelph Civic Museum. Doors open at 9:00 am; tour begins at 9:30 am

2. View the livestreamed tour from home. We will send you an access link.
