About
Immerse yourself in the rich cultural art songs of the Philippines. Delve into the origins of Kundiman, the classical love song; Harana, the serenade songs; and Zarzuela, the Filipino opera.
We are honored to welcome Ronald Mervin Sison from Teatro Filipino Manitoba in Winnipeg. He will engage in a thoughtful discussion of the various cultural art songs in the Philippines and captivate us with his performances.
He will be accompanied by Mark Ancheta , a local musician/accompanist from Regina.
