About
Join Indigenous artist, advocate, and storyteller Syndel Thomas Kozar for an interactive workshop that explores how race, identity, and lived experiences shape the opportunities and barriers faced by young people in Canada.
Using a step forward/step back activity based on real stories from youth across the country, participants will witness how privilege and inequity unfold in everyday life. The workshop creates space for awareness, empathy, and conversation about how we can build more inclusive and understanding communities.
The session will close with a group reflection circle, followed by sharing food and refreshments as a way to continue conversation, connection, and care.
