About

The Manitoba Genealogical Society is once again taking part in CULTURE DAYS. This year, we are celebrating Icelandic culture with some displays and food.

As usual, we will have volunteers standing by to help you with your research, help you with brick walls, give tours of our facility and show you all the resources that we have that are not online. We have been collecting those since 1976!

Manitoba Church records that are not online anywhere. Although not complete records, we have many filing cabinets filled with 1813-1925 Diocese of Rupert's Land Anglican Marriage, Baptism and Death indexes. 1834-1982 Catholic Marriage Indexes. Manitoba and NW Ontario marriage, baptism and burial indexes from the United Church.

We are a FamilySearch Affiliate library. Fix your photos with Vivid Pix. Look up your family in our province-wide cemetery transcripts. We have Ancestry Library Edition. We have NewspaperArchives International. Manitoba community and family history books. Henderson Directories.
