A great example is Fela Anikulapo-Kuti who's life was portrayed in the hugely successful stage play - Fela.

Today we will be celebrating music greats like Fela, Onyeka Onwenu, Sunny Okosun, Victor Olaiya, Bobby Benson, Ebi Edna Ogholi, Dan Maraya Jos, Bright Chimezie, Christy Essien Igbokwe, Prince Nico Mbarga, Majek Fashek, Ebenezer Obey, Sunny Ade, Shina Peters, IK Dairo, Oliver De Coque and so many others.

It is a celebration of the Rich, Vibrant culture displayed by the Nigerian Music Scene. In today's event, we will be throwing it back to Oldies loved by all.

• Providing ongoing supplies to people who identify as homeless in the GTA

• Worked with Syrian Refugees in Hamilton and People (IDPs) displaced by the Boko Haram Terrorist group in Nigeria

• Taught Financial Literacy to youth in the GTA

• We have an ongoing sponsorship of children in IDP camps in Nigeria through elementary and high school

• Participant – Halton Equity and Diversity Roundtable

• Collaborated with the Canadian Black Chamber Of Commerce (CBCC) to ensure youth participation in The Economic Club of Canada & The Global Institute for Conscious Economics’ Conversation with Barack Obama
