About
Katelin Clegg was born in London Ontario and currently resides in St Thomas Ontario. Creating
for nearly 40 years, Katelin has raised three children and now balances art, work, home and
family. Encaustic medium is a newer practice for Katelin who mainly expressed through
photography, painting and sculpture. Using her images and wax, Katelin is combining her three
favourite mediums together. Capturing aging buildings and landscapes is a theme within
Katelin’s body of work and the concept of “roots” tie it all together for Katelin. Preserving
history in wax is an important piece of her concepts.

Organizer
Elora Fergus Studio Tour
For nearly 40 years, a dedicated and well-structured volunteer group made up of participating artists has successfully organized this annual event. At the heart of the Elora Fergus Studio Tour is a strong spirit of community collaboration. We work closely with local businesses throughout Elora and Fergus to secure sponsorships, advertising support, brochure distribution, printing, signage production, and promotional partnerships that help strengthen both the tour and the local economy. These valued relationships, combined with outreach through social media and local media outlets, allow us to promote the tour effectively and cost-efficiently each year.
A key partner in the success of the tour is the Elora Centre for the Arts, which hosts our main gallery exhibition and serves as an important cultural hub for both artists and visitors. Together with the support of local businesses and community organizations, the Elora Fergus Studio Tour has established itself as one of Canada’s premier artist studio tours, known for its professionalism, artistic excellence, and strong community connections.
