About
Melissa Robertson will guide you on a tour of notable artworks from the Library’s permanent art collection on Saturday, September 21 at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Discover the work of local artists who have created in and about the Sunshine City for centuries, and experience the featured work of great masters including Arthur Shilling, Elizabeth Wyn Wood, and Franklin Carmichael. Everyone welcome! No registration required. Meet in the Library Lobby.
Melissa Robertson is a practicing artist and educator of over 20 years. An unyielding passion for art and literature has led to rewarding careers in cultural centres, art galleries and libraries - where advocacy for the arts is front and center. Melissa has a Master of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Education and she works as the Director of Corporate and Operational Services at Orillia Public Library.
