About
Come join us for an interactive spoken word event where anyone can sign-up to perform on the open mic or compete for the $100 slam prize 🎤
Guelph Poetry Slam includes a feature artist performance, poetry slam competition, and an open mic. You also have an opportunity to be a judge and score the poems from 0-10 to determine the winner - or just cheer on your favourites. Doors open at 8pm, show at 8:30!
While GPS and our venue are all ages, the language and content of the event often includes mature and politically/emotionally intense topics. We encourage you to look after yourself in any way you need, as long as it is respectful to others in the space. Detailed accessibility info is available at https://guelphpoetryslam.eventbrite.ca - please reach out to us with any questions or accessibility needs not listed!
