About
Just in time for the 10th Anniversary theme of Culture Days "Creativity, the Arts, and Well-being", Healthy Huntsville is a brief history of health care in Huntsville, ON. The presentation is at Muskoka Heritage Place museum and is mounted in collaboration with Muskoka Algonquin Health Care, Huntsville Hospital Auxiliary and the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
Visitors will enjoy interactive educational and enlightening family fun with funky old remedies and some seriously sketchy treatments from days of yore, along with some everlasting wisdom and wise old ways.
Huntsville enjoys one of the healthiest natural environments in the world: plenty of clean air and fresh water. The environment has created challenges and provided cures for people here. "The elements that inspire are still here."
During the Culture Days 2019 weekend only, admission to the Muskoka Museum for HEALTHY HUNTSVILLE exhibit is FREE!
If visitors wish to enjoy admission to the Pioneer Village and Train, regular rates apply.
