Arts Days 2025 – Keeping it Reel: Art Documentary Film

Our ongoing Art Documentary Film series brings you a new art documentary film from southern Alberta’s largest visual art film library. As well, the release of the 2nd edition of the Art Documentary film catalogue – an amazing resource to the vast collection of inspiring films that the public can access.

Film: A BULLET PULLING THREAD (dir. Ian Daffern, 2023, Canada, English, 73 mins)

Can quilting change the world? Artist Marilyn Farquhar is devastated when the RCMP killed her brother after a mental health crisis. She creates a series of quilts to channel her grief, spark conversations, and motivate change in Canadian policing.
