About

Our self-portrait series is inspired by Art Voice: Expressions from youth in the GTA, an online exhibition featuring extraordinary works created by youth artists expressing their voices through art.

Portraits are one mode of artistic self-expression. Over the course of 4 weeks, you will have the opportunity to create your own unique expressions through a series of guided self-portrait activities. At the end of the series you will have 4 different styles of self-portraits.

Themes:

Week 1: September 26, Abstract

Week 2: October 3, Cartoon

Week 3: October 10, Collage

Week 4: October 17, Pop Art
