About
The ArtHouse Canoe Garden in partnership with Halton Environmental Network presents their latest collaborative project inviting members of the community to come together to paint a pollinator Canoe for public display.
This Canoe Project focuses on fostering:
Creativity:
The Canoe will be enhanced with rich artwork thanks to community participants;
Education:
The community will learn about ecosystems, biodiversity, and the importance of pollinator gardens that can reduce soil erosion;
Call for Action:
The Canoe Garden will welcome a new model of story telling that will drive community conversations about climate change and action.

ArtHouse is a Halton focused charity that provides FREE arts programs for children and youth age 5-17 who have little or no access to fee-related activities. ArtHouse programs help unleash creativity, build coping skills and confidence and support physical, social and emotional well-being.
Halton Environmental Network (HEN) is an incorporated non-profit organization, established in 2004 and operating in Halton region.
