About

Come and join a fall gathering to connect with nature and each other by engaging with the guided meditation practice called Yoga Nidra. The meditation will focus on the Autumn Equinox and the turning of the year's wheel. We will begin with a brief introduction to explain the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra and the many benefits it can provide to the mind, body, and emotions. We will then gather in a circle and begin with a few very gentle movements to prepare the body for the meditation practice. We will create a personal "Yoga Nidra Nest" to support the body comfortably (bolsters, blocks, blankets, eye pillows, etc, will be provided). We will then be led through a guided meditation to deeply rest and nourish our nervous systems while celebrating the Autumn Equinox and the wonder of Nature surrounding us. Following the guided meditation, a cup of locally grown herbal tea and freshly picked apples will be offered so people can linger and visit together.

I love gathering people to connect with Nature, the seasons, each other, and ourselves. I love to help people access their calm, sleep better, and handle anxious thoughts through group yoga/meditation classes, art journaling practices, gardening, and deep conversations.
