About

The Brant Historical Society hosts a Speaker Series with historians sharing their love of Brantford stories. Our virtual launch of the 2020-2021 Speaker Series features a presentation entitled Buildings we have lost. Tyler Britz, a local history student at Wilfrid Laurier University, will share his research that he conducted as a summer student at the Brant Museum & Archives in 2019.

Brant Historical Society

The Brant Historical Society was founded as the 21st museum in the Province of Ontario. Our mandate is to collect, preserve, and share the history and heritage of Brantford/Brant County and Six Nations/Mississauga's of the Credit.

The Brant Historical Society operates Myrtleville House Museum owned by the National Heritage Trust and owns and operates the Brant Museums & Archives.

These museums are open year-round providing exhibits, kids and adult programming, research requests, walking tours, and a speaker's series.
