About

Come check out a 'living book' and hear unique stories as you pass through our Refugee Library! At this Refugee Library you will experience firsthand accounts of adventure, adversity, and tales from around the world. Our human “books” will include representatives from diverse countries across the world, highlighting our city's multiculturalism and resilience amongst newcomers.

The aim of this event is to create a safe and inclusive space to break down stereotypes, and dismantle prejudices through the power of human connection. This is a project in conjunction with the NWO Local Immigration Partnership and the Thunder Bay Public Library.
