About
Indigenous Cultural Day will feature the Stonestand Family Dancers and the Digging Bear Drumming Circle. Edward Stonestand will also perform as the Bear Dancer. There will be workshops on teaching drumming and various dances. This will all take place in the CJVR Performing Arts Theatre at the Kerry Vickar Centre.

For the very first Culture Days, this committee was established as an umbrella committee inclusive of representatives from various city, arts & crafts, and cultural organizations in Mefort. The Museum Curator/Cultural Coordinator for the City of Melfort assumed leadership as the adminstrator. We have participated in every Culture Days and have reached out for a more diversified representation of cultures represented in Melfort (and area). The committee meets throughout the year for planning, budgeting, follow-up and recommendations, etc.
