About

Meet Adrienne Beck, local fibre enthusiast, who dove deep into the angora rabbit hole of fibre arts. It wasn’t just enough to learn to knit, she had to explore carding, spinning, weaving and dying too.

No craft has tools with crazier names than those used to process animal fibre into the luxurious yarns we know and love.

- Play a game to find out if you can identify fibres from both animal and plant sources.

- Try your hand at carding wool, spinning or weaving.

- Explore the variety of techniques that have developed over the centuries that go far beyond our basic need to clothe ourselves.
