About

Celebrate autumn and learn about Canada's famous author Lucy Maud Montgomery, a resident of Norval from 1926 to 1935, and the future museum and literary centre to be dedicated in her honour.

Visit the Children's Garden of the Senses at the Lucy Maud Montgomery Heritage Garden and the historic Caretaker's Cottage for tours led by heritage interpreters!

Attendees are required to practice social distancing, and tour groups will be limited in size. Masks must be worn indoors.

This event is presented in partnership between the Norval Community Association, the L.M. Montgomery Museum and Literary Centre, and the Heritage Foundation of Halton Hills.

Norval Community Association - a registered non profit since 1974 fostering community pride, preservation of our heritage, and to promote village beautification.

L.M. Montgomery Museum and Literary Centre - a registered charity working to preserve the life and work of famous Canadian author LM Montgomery by opening a museum and literary centre in her honour.

Heritage Foundation of Halton Hills - a registered charity to preserve the historical heritage within the Town of Halton Hills by providing education and to increase public awareness of the significance of historical buildings and structures.
