About
Forest Walk Experience
The Lake Country ARTHouse has created this video in conjunction with the Voice & Land Exhibition at Lake Country Art Gallery running until May 22nd 2021.
This video provides an overview of forest bathing and practical experiences that guide you through forest. bathing techniques. You can download an MP3 file at https://soundcloud.com/alison-beaumon... should you wish to follow along while on your own walk in the forest, the MP3 has the pauses included in the file.
Feel free to participate in a guided forest bathing/therapy experience while having one ear plug in and one ear plug out. Wherever you are, explore the possibilities of connecting with the land, water and all beings through this practice.
You can see additional resources including the slides from this video and the MP3 file at https://www.lakecountryartgallery.ca/...

Lake Country Public Art Gallery
The Lake Country Art Gallery is situated on the unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) Peoples, Lake Country is a district municipality with a population of approximately 15,000 in the Okanagan Valley region of British Columbia, Canada. Lake Country is located halfway between Kelowna to the south and Vernon to the north.
The Lake Country Art Gallery informs and builds community through enriching and sometimes challenging exhibitions. It offers diverse and inclusive programming and gives space to artists in varied artistic practices. It is accessible, engages the local community and beyond, and fulfils its role with a strong, contemporary voice.
The operation of the Lake Country Art Gallery grew to include a second adjacent building known as the Arthouse. Here a workshop space is used for classes and community programs. alongside four individual studios rented to practising artists, and surrounded by a large garden area which supports regular outdoor arts events and activities.
