About
Doors Open returns to Halton Hills!
St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church Glen Williams is just one of many locations available to explore during Doors Open Halton. Local Anglicans on the Credit River first worshipped in Georgetown with occasional services in the Glen Williams Town Hall. St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church was founded in 1902 on land donated by Rose Ann McMaster. The first service was June 24, 1903. But it remained a mission of Georgetown until 1958 when it became a self-supporting parish.
