About

A workshop for music teachers, music students, parents and music lovers; to explore the possibility and importance of teaching tonic sol-fa as alternative means of musical notation. This will empower immigrant children to employ solfa notation as a tool to sing and play by ear, sing and play folk tunes from their culture, play music within their religious settings, or entertain family and friends where classical music is not employed.
