About
Step into the captivating realm of puppetry and theatrical magic with Waterwood Theatre. This mesmerizing showcase features dozens of handmade puppets used in thousands of performances over their illustrious 30-plus-year career as professional puppeteers. This library exhibit transports visitors into a world where puppets come alive, weaving tales of wonder through art and storytelling.
Waterwood Theatre, led by Karen Waterman and Daniel Wood, introduces children to the enchanting world of puppet making, characters, movement, dance, and storytelling. Through their collective experience and passion for the arts, Karen Waterman and Daniel Wood bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to enrich the learning experiences of young minds.
Waterwood Theatre will lead a free workshop for children ages 8 – 12 at the library on Saturday, Sept. 23, 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. as part of Culture Days. For more information, visit stcatharines.ca/CultureDays.
