Organizer

Ryga Arts Festival

The Ryga Festival Society operates a 5-day, multidisciplinary festival in Summerland, BC, home to one of Canada's most well known playwrights, George Ryga. Our mandate is to advocate for social justice through the arts, and we do that by presenting words, theatre and music in a professional and community context, supporting artists of all levels. Most of our events are free to the public, and this year are featuring two headlining plays, Kym Gouchie, our annual events: Theatre Trail and Outspoken, and author readings and workshops from renowned poet Harold Rhenisch and author Emelia Symington-Fedy.
