About

Join us for an unforgettable evening with award-winning singer-songwriter Tia McGraff, whose soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics have captivated audiences across North America and Europe. From her early rise to fame after winning the Canadian Open Country Singing Contest to sharing stages with legends like Johnny Cash and June Carter, McGraff’s journey is one of passion, purpose, and powerful storytelling.

Together with her husband and musical partner Tommy Parham, Tia has released over ten internationally acclaimed albums, earning numerous accolades, including Americana CD of the Year, Hamilton Music Award, and Social Justice Song of the Year.

This special performance features songs from their celebrated catalogue, including songs about local legends and historical figures like Abigail Becker, the Angel of Long Point. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to their music, this is a night to be moved, inspired, and uplifted.

Burlington Public Library

Explore – Discover – Learn! That’s what Burlington Public Library is all about.

The Library belongs to everyone in the community and is free to join if you live, work, or go to school in Burlington.

There are seven library branches citywide: six full-service branches (Aldershot, Alton, Brant Hills, Central, New Appleby, Tansley Woods) and a small lending collection in the rural hamlet of Kilbride. Library service began in Burlington in January 1872.

Central Branch is the largest location and houses historical and special collections, a community makerspace, and a computer lab.

We look forward to welcoming you to Burlington Public Library during Culture Days.
