About
In this interactive reading/writing event for 8- to 12-year-olds, we'll have some fun with story rules (like Never! start with Weather!!) ~
Are these rules good?
Are they bad?
Maybe they're really silly!
Could they be helpful?
We'll play around with following - and breaking - those rules, and, who knows, maybe come up with some better ones of our own…

Organizer
Anneliese Schultz, Author
After teaching Italian at UBC for many years, Anneliese now writes full-time and loves doing readings of her stories.
Using her MFA in Creative Writing, she recently completed a ghost story, "Magic is Malarkey," and is working on two other Middle Grade novels.
Her favorite fall event is Trick-or-Book, a tradition she started in 2021, handing out books instead of candy for Halloween.
