Please join the Mayor and staff as we raise the flag for Culture Days 2026 and enjoy a short acoustic performance by Shawn Corbiere.

Shawn Corbiere/Nadijwan is a community member of M’Chigeeng First Nation (Village Among The Steep Rocks), Manitoulin Island. Shawn is the co-founder of the Juno-nominated group No Reservations. He brings Indigenous knowledge to life through his programming and acoustic performances. One of Shawn's traditional teachings is the art of Flint Knapping, an ancient art form practiced thousands of years ago. Shawn was also the Atlatl consultant for the movie The Silencing, now on Netflix.
