About

October is Islamic History Month in Canada, and an opportunity to learn about Muslim contributions to the sciences, humanities, medicine, astronomy, and other disciplines that have greatly benefited civil progress. Join us for this 2-hour event filled with information about Islamic culture throughout history and interactive activities for you and your family. Henna artists will apply henna to interested participants. Try your hand at some simple crafts based on Islamic shapes and forms. Hosted by the Durham Chapter, Canadian Council of Muslim Women, and Oshawa Public Libraries. Light refreshments will be served.
