SELF-GUIDED TOURS

The Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame & Museum is located in the St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre.

Open Daily for self-guided tours - throughout Culture Days with timed entry listed below.

Due to COVID related precautions, all visitors to the Centre are asked to make a reservation for a timed visit. The time slot includes access to the St. Catharines Museum, the Lock 3 viewing platform and the Lacrosse Hall of Fame & Museum.

Timed entry is available daily at:

9 to 10:30 am

11 am to 12:30 pm

1 to 2:30 pm

3 to 4:30 pm

The Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame & Museum recognizes and celebrates the great game of Lacrosse, through historical, cultural, and athletic contributions to the sport; celebrating past, and present achievements in Canada’s national sport, across the province.

Visit to learn more about our OLHOF inductees, and tour the museum; providing you with greater insight into the game, as well as its rich history & cultural impact in Ontario.

Ontario lacrosse has the most active base in the country, and the highest active participation levels for any organized lacrosse association, by far. Since its inception in 1992, the OLHOF’s mission has been to recognize & celebrate the historical, cultural, and athletic contributions within the Ontario lacrosse community; as well as to provide educational information resources about the game and its rich history.

The Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame & Museum recognizes and celebrates the great game of Lacrosse, through historical, cultural, and athletic contributions to the sport; celebrating past, and present achievements in Canada’s national sport, across the province.

St. Catharines Museum & Welland Canals Centre:

A Municipal Museum with permanent and temporary exhibits that illustrate the history of St. Catharines and its people: The Welland Canals, the Underground Railroad, and the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame & Museum. At the Centre you can also experience the technological marvel that is the Welland Canal Locks - head outside to experience the Lock 3 Ship Viewing Platform.

St. Catharines Culture:

The Cultural Services office is a division of the City of St. Catharines’ Community, Recreation and Culture Services department. Cultural Services focuses on public art, community development, planning and policy related to arts and culture in the City of St. Catharines. During Culture Days, staff partner with organizations and artists to deliver programs for the Community.
