Join Miss Myriam for Saturday morning storytelling time! As a performer, poet and teacher, she brings a unique twist to the world of storytelling and through some creative surprises (like some of her puppet friends) the little ones will get to develop early literacy skills and spark their imagination! She will read some portions of the stories in English and some in Spanish so bring your bilingual ears, comfiest clothes, and enjoy the show!!

Myriam Suarez is a Mexican-born, poet, storyteller, singer and early childhood educator. For 10 years, she was the coordinator of the Young Artist Programs at the Oakville Arts Studio, where she developed and implemented a variety of programs aimed to foster creativity, self-expression, literacy and social amongst young artists. Her passion for teaching and performing translate into unique and energetic storytelling adventures she wishes to share with the world!
