The Writers Foundation of Strathcona County presents its annual signature literary event showcasing local authors and their books held in conjunction with Alberta Culture Days. This is a free family event with all-day fun featuring interactive displays, information, and a mix of cultural entertainment.

The Writers Foundation of Strathcona County (WFSC) was founded in 2005 to support writers and the literary arts in our community. The WFSC has been active in Strathcona County promoting not only writing, words, and authors, but also other arts and culture. The WFSC hosts 2 signature events annually: a spring writer's conference, and the fall Words in the Park - Book Fair & Sale. The group meets monthly to encourage local writers.
