Georgetown Little Theatre

Imagine performing in front of a live audience script-less. Since 2008, more than 100 enthusiastic members of GLT Productions have joined the GLT Improv Club (GLIC) to practice the art of creating scenes without scripts.

Improv is an excellent skill for performers and non-performers alike. The lessons learned from improv can be applied to everyday life and at-work experiences.

After the main GLT Productions season ends, GLIC meets regularly at the GLT Productions Studio in Stewarttown. The club offers free weekly improv drop-ins through the summer to paid members, and facilitates additional workshops with external improv experts. During the regular season, GLIC members may perform or meet as required, but may not have access to the studio space.

GLIC performs an annual End-of-Summer Improv Showcase, and also performs on and off at outside improv venues.
