About

Jenny Zhang is a Chinese-Canadian artist working with handmade paper and natural pigments. Her practice explores the relationship between traditional craft processes, sustainability, and contemporary art.

For Culture Days, Jenny will present a paper collage workshop and talk exploring handmade paper traditions from East and West, and examples from her own work displayed in the exhibition. Participants can also learn how to fold paper fortune cookies inspired by Chinese restaurant traditions and paper craft practices.

Duration: approximately 2 hours

Includes Chinese Pearl River Delta tea and dessert from IG@theloveoftealounge
