This is the second of a four-part workshop series in collaboration with Vernon & District Immigrant & Community Services Society and Studio sisp̓l̓k̓ Gallery Inc.

Led by renowned syilx artist Mariel Belanger, this series encourages newcomers to delve into the concepts of "home" and belonging through the lens of Indigenous worldview.

The Land Acknowledgement & Allyship workshop will include hands-on activities to provide knowledge on how to care for the land, highlighting the significance of land acknowledgments in supporting Indigenous communities.
