About
The Community Presents series is a new initiative from the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) that facilitates learning and knowledge-sharing within the Brampton creative community while developing individual community members' facilitation skills. To that end, we've empowered Brampton artists and creatives to craft programming and initiatives specifically for their community.
This workshop is for ALL performers and artists, emerging through mid-career, who use their voice as their instrument.
During this workshop, participants will learn how to take the best care of their most important instrument, their voice. To that end, they will learn vocal and breath/mic technique and vocal hygiene as well as the anatomy and physiology of the voice and volume and intonation. In addition to vocal care, participants will also receive performance coaching.
Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from Juno award-winning singer, Liberty Silver, and award-winning MC/speaker Andria Barrett.
What You'll Learn:
How to warm up your voice
Vocal, breath and mic technique
Vocal hygiene and how to care for your voice
Vocal performance coaching
Please note that participants must be at least 18 years old.
