About
Kirsty Naray is a Glass, Fibre and Metal artist exploring new ways to combine her three favourite artistic passions. Beginning in 1993, she discovered how to bend glass in a flame and her love of lampwork beadmaking soared. Five years ago she allowed herself time to explore another interest – fibre – and another passion was born. Metal has since been added to her interests. Nature and the spiritual world are constant sources of inspiration. Sharing her work at art shows, studio tours and workshops brings Kirsty feelings of deep contentment and joy.
Meet Kirsty in-person on Saturday, September 26th at the Scugog Arts Hub where she will be doing a live demo of saori weaving.
Kirsty is also a Resident Artist at Scugog Arts. Her work is currently on display at the gallery - 175B Queen St, Port Perry.
