About
This workshop makes the connection between art and the beauty of mathematics through the patterns of Islamic art. Participants will learn about the characteristics of this art form and then will be able to launch into creation by using mathematical concepts to draw geometric patterns.
Materials required for each participant: ruler, set of compasses, pencil, eraser, markers or colored pencils, sketchbook paper (A4) or white sheet.

Faten Trabelsi (Artist)
Faten Trabelsi is an artist, painter and teacher engaged in plastic arts such as painting, drawing and technical exploration. She holds a master's degree, a bachelor's degree in visual arts and a bachelor of education in visual arts from the University of Ottawa. Her creativity is inspired by cultural exchanges. She participated in several exhibitions and has led several artistic workshops in different countries.
