About
Treasure Chest Toastmasters Club is celebrating it's 40th Anniversary in the City of Yorkton. Since 1983 we have been helping people find their voice, so they speak with confidence in any situation. Members will practice valuable skills, such as:
• preparing and presenting speeches – whether toasting your best friend at their wedding or introducing a keynote speaker at a formal dinner;
• addressing impromptu questions while showing your craft;
• providing constructive criticism - a valuable skill learned through the evaluation process;
• enhancing your listening skills and time management skills.
During our 1 hour demo meeting, our members will demonstrate how, through active participation in a formal meeting setting, they are able to learn and enhance their communication & leadership skills. Guests welcome to join us for one session or all three sessions on the following dates:
September 27 - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Land Titles, Godfrey Dean Cultural Building (
October 4 - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Yorkton Public Library
October 11 - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Yorkton Public Library
This event will be hybrid - allowing people to join in person or online via zoom. Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88334405135
