Organizer
Cow Head Conservation and Heritage Committee
Gros Morne Fall Festival and Craft Fair is organized by a small but committed band of volunteers that make up the Cow Head Conservation and Heritage Committee.
The Cow Head Conservation and Heritage Committee have been in existence since 1975 and is a proud group of like minded individuals and community champions committed to protecting and celebrating our culture and heritage. The committee has consistently maintained this mandate for 44 years. During this time, the committee has relied upon strategic decisions and tremendous community support in order to maintain the Dr. Henry N. Payne Community Museum property and its message. Successful yearly fund-raising campaigns and other community events are a testament to the strength of the community support the committee has been able to amass. Due to steady improvements and increased tourism visitation, the committee continues to grow. A large number of activities are required to professionalize and improve overall product quality, maintain operations and build capacity within the community. Our organization has built a Veterans Memorial Park and hosts the Gros Morne Fall Festival and Craft Fair
