About

You are invited to this satellite studio show featuring local artist Tim Murton in the Harris gallery. The exhibition will feature some of Tim's fresh and bright oil paintings from his new collection. Runs September 19 - November 17th. Tim Murton's painting style ranges from impressionism to photo-realism, but his work is always inspired by the qualities of light.

Tim spent over 18 years in the Toronto film industry, accumulating scenic art credits on more than 40 feature films in Canada, US, England and New Zealand. He is now living his life’s ambition as an independent fine artist.

Tim’s paintings have been exhibited at Toronto’s Harbour Front Gallery, Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, The Harbinger Gallery, MacDonald Stewart Guelph, Art Gallery of Windsor, Karger Gallery, Elora Centre for the Arts and Chimaera Gallery, UK among others. His work is in many private collections throughout Canada, England, Europe and the U.S

Elora Centre For the Arts

The Elora Centre for the Arts is located in a restored, three-story limestone school building in one of Ontario’s most picturesque villages. The Elora Centre for the Arts consists of 10 large classrooms converted to provide in total over 10,000 square feet of dedicated space plus additional service corridors and amenities. It is now considered a home where Art lives. The facility is envisioned as an enhancement to cultural life in the region through production and reception, and through the practice and presentations.

The Elora Centre for the Arts provides educative opportunities and transformational opportunities for all ages. Studio and rehearsal spaces are available, and programmes include exhibits, performances, residencies, lectures, classes and workshops.
