The event begins with a captivating play that brings to life the rich and storied past of the Heritage Theatre on Main Street. The Heritage Planning Team is part of Integrated City Planning at the City of Brampton. The team develops and implements heritage policies, regulations, standards, and guidelines to support the conservation and celebration of Brampton’s cultural heritage resources. In addition, the team is responsible for reviewing development applications to ensure that proposed changes respect and conserve identified cultural heritage resources in accordance with municipal, provincial, and federal heritage legislation and policies.
